This two-day adult summer camp is designed for aspiring filmmakers, storytellers, and curious creatives! Whether you’ve dabbled in film or are brand new to the process, this hands-on weekend intensive will walk you through the entire journey of bringing a script to life.
What to Expect:
🔧 Script in Hand, Story in Motion
Camp kicks off with a collaborative script revision session. Campers will work together to shape a short screenplay—honing story beats, clarifying character arcs, and preparing it for production.
🎬 Behind the Scenes, On the Set
You’ll get a crash course in the key departments that bring a film to life—Directing, Camera, Art, Sound, Producing, and more. Learn what it takes to prep a shoot, break down a script, and manage a set.
🎥 Lights On. Cameras Rolling. Action!
On Day Two, the cameras roll! Using your newly acquired skills, you’ll rotate through roles and shoot the revised script as a team—experiencing the rhythm, challenge, and joy of filmmaking firsthand.
No experience required. Just bring your curiosity, creativity, and a collaborative spirit.
