Learn all about what a Director and Assistant Director does on set, including creative interpretation of a script, production organization and scheduling, and collaboration with different departments and actors to achieve the desired vision for the project.
Spend a week learning all about what a Director and Assistant Director does on set, including creative interpretation of a script, production organization and scheduling, and collaboration with different departments and actors to achieve the desired vision for the project. Industry expert directors and ADs who will teach campers what it takes to be an effective leader on set. Campers will develop filmmaking skills such as breaking down a script, creating a shot list, creating a shooting schedule and call sheet, how to block scenes with actors, how to give and receive feedback, and much more.
This camp is not just a fun time filming it’s a true directing intensive where students gain the tools, techniques, and confidence to lead on set.
