Acting for Camera with Alliance Theatre
This course, created in partnership with the Alliance Theatre, teaches students how to perform on-camera acting exercises, sharpen their acting skills take after take, receive individual feedback for their work, learn about close-ups, continuity, and auditioning, and take their first step toward the silver screen. Students will sharpen their on-camera acting skills, develop their film acting technique, create and build relationships, motivate their scenes through positive expectations, and perform scenes on camera.
Put your film acting technique into practice, find out what is expected on a film set, workshop full-length film scenes, and receive direction from experienced professionals.
Please note: students do have graded assignments, assessments, and projects and will receive a final grade in this course. Grades demonstrate a student’s ability to apply their understanding and mastery of concepts taught in this course. Alliance Theatre and Trilith Institute instructors have a wealth of knowledge as they come with expertise in the film and entertainment industry.
